Old school, punk rock, favorite song for the Swenson Girls
I bet you wouldn’t guess that my sisters and I have a punk rock side. 😉
This Friday night I’m thinking about how absolutely fabulous my sisters are. For all of you non-family readers, feel free to skip this walk down memory lane. Or enjoy laughing at how weird my family is! 🙂
The summer I was Karissa’s quasi-boss. Apparently it’s okay to give your quasi-boss a wedgie!?! I think this was the night we also went howling for wolves? And did a herpetology study.
Halloween in 1991. Ladybug. Spanish Lady. Chinese Lady. We were cute.
Pioneer Woman & Pocahontas.
The Swenson Girls are pretty tough. So tough that I can break a cast iron skillet with my bare hands.
Karissa in the shop. Making her…
Serving tray?
We really can be normal.
Maybe I spoke too soon. From 1986…to 1994 in Wyoming…from puppies … to our own dogs…dressing up as Dorothy, the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch …and doing a polar plunge on Halloween.
We will always be sisters. Always there for each other. To listen. To talk. To laugh. To cry. To cook with. To cuddle with. To swim in Nelson with. To wear Beaver hats with.
And spend Friday nights emailing…because although distance may separate us, we’re always together in our hearts.
I was a Chinese lady not a Spanish lady for sooo many years.
Yep! And I was a Spanish lady for a bunch of years.
Oh gee, I didn’t read the description well enough.
I am so lucky to have the two of you for big sisters. You always have my back. 🙂 I love the both of you.
P.S. I listened to Mest soooo much in middle school thanks to you guys. Haha. 🙂
i’m glad we dressed alike in the 90s, it makes me feel better. and yeah, cass and i could probably give you a run for your money in the being normal department… 😀
