This past weekend I spent it with my mom, one of my sisters, my aunt, uncle and two lil cousins – I got special gifts for girls – at the farm my mom and aunt were raised on.
It was a cooking weekend of sorts, making some of my Grandma Sig’s fabulous recipes.
I’m still sifting through all of the yummy goodness and photos of the food, so that will be in a post yet to come.
But in the meantime, my sweet (& silly) little cousins will tide us over.
Woke up early to feed the birds and the geese before they arrived this morning. I then came in and started my morning viewing the wonderful photos in your website. Wow, wow, wow! You are so good, Anni. Your style is my style! These children’s photos just made me smile. I don’t know if I told you that I had chickens too. . . . nine of them, all with names and they were pets. I hatched them in an incubator so we bonded with eachother pretty easily. Eaglet lived the longest – about 9 years. She even had her colorful feathers turn grey and white in her later years!
